Ireland looks quite a bit like England so when Al saw her crying, what's the first thing that would com into his mind?? (sorry guys... bit of USxUK there XD) and for the nations, it hasn't actually been that long since the war of independence...
not to mention that Alfred can't stand tears anyway X'3

in my mind, America would really want to help; he would want everyone to be happy in his country and that's why he's being so serious there ^^
THEN he starts spouting stuff about heroes XD

but then after the Civil war... i think that America would change and treat ireland differently; though it's true, the irish weren't treated very well in America anyway X'3

so i feel really bad for Ireland which is why i think this comic turned out pretty well
